Privacy Policy — Dart-o-matic

Effective date: 1 October 2026
Developer: EagleSoft (Aleš Orel)
Contact: ales.orel@comland.com
App: Dart-o-matic (com.eaglesoft.dartomatic), Android and iOS

Summary

Dart-o-matic is a darts game. It has no user accounts, collects no personal data itself, and stores your game settings only on your device. The free version shows advertising served by Google AdMob; a one-time in-app purchase removes all advertising permanently.

Data stored on your device only

Player names you enter and your game options are stored locally on your device. They are never uploaded anywhere and are deleted when you uninstall the app.

Announcer voice

The announcer's voice is generated on your device by your device's own text-to-speech engine (for example Google Speech Services on Android, or Apple's built-in speech on iPhone and iPad). The app only asks the engine to speak a fixed set of darts calls; it does not send any of your data anywhere.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The free version of the app shows a banner ad at the top of the screen and, at most every few minutes, a full-screen ad between legs. Ads are served by Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd. / Google LLC). To serve and measure ads, Google may collect and process data as described in Google's privacy policy, including:

How this data is used depends on your consent choices (see below). Details:

The app is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children. Ad requests are not tagged as child-directed.

Your consent choices (GDPR / EEA and UK users)

On first launch in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you are shown a consent dialog (Google's UMP consent framework) before any ad is loaded. You can choose whether ads may be personalised. You can review or withdraw your consent at any time via "Ad privacy options" in the app's main menu.

If you decline personalised ads, you may still see non-personalised ads, which use limited data (such as IP address) for frequency capping and fraud prevention.

Tracking permission (iOS)

On iPhone and iPad, a short explanation is followed by Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. Only if you tap "Allow" can the advertising identifier (IDFA) be used for ads; if you decline, it is not shared and ads are served without it. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

In-app purchase

The app offers a single one-time purchase ("Remove ads") processed entirely by Google Play Billing (Android) or the Apple App Store (iOS). The developer never receives your payment details. The purchase is tied to your Google account or Apple Account. On Android it is restored automatically if you reinstall the app; on iOS use "Restore purchases" in the main menu. After the purchase, no ads are shown and no advertising SDK is initialised.

Data sharing and selling

We do not collect, sell, or share any personal data ourselves. The only third party processing data is Google, as described above, solely for the purpose of serving ads in the free version.

Data retention and deletion

We hold no data about you, so there is nothing for us to delete. Local game data is removed by uninstalling the app. For data processed by Google, see Google's privacy policy and your Google account controls (myadcenter.google.com).

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children; the app itself collects no personal data from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be published at the same URL with an updated effective date.
